Preventative maintenance with km-based service plans, a redesigned dashboard, the IoT design language, driver assignment, and inspection automation.
This release makes Yipii Mobility feel like a new product: a proper preventative-maintenance engine with fleet-wide service plans, a redesigned dashboard that reads like a morning brief, a fresh visual language shared with the IoT platform, real driver-to-vehicle assignment, inspection automation — and a sweeping reliability pass across every form and module.
Preventative Maintenance, Done Properly
Every X kilometres or every Y months — whichever comes first
Service schedules now support true dual-trigger recurrence: set a service to come due every 10,000 km or every 6 months, and the platform tracks both against each vehicle's live odometer — whichever lands first raises the reminder. Because odometer readings flow straight from your connected vehicles, distance-based maintenance finally works without anyone keying in mileage.
Fleet service plans
Instead of configuring schedules vehicle by vehicle, create a fleet service plan once and it materialises the right schedules across every matching vehicle — including vehicles you add in the future, which pick up the plan automatically. Recommended templates for common regimes (oil service, brakes, tyres, and more) get you started in a couple of clicks.
Close the loop with one click
When a service is done, log it directly on the schedule — the platform records the work, resets the clock and the odometer baseline, and arms the next occurrence automatically. Due and overdue services now also notify you by email, and next-due dates are derived automatically as you set a schedule up.
A Dashboard That Reads Like a Brief
Editorial redesign
The dashboard has been redesigned around what you actually need each morning: a Brief hero that tells you in plain language what deserves attention, a figures strip with the numbers that matter, and Yipster woven in for context. A second iteration made it friendlier still — every figure is explained, and common actions like clock-in and quick entries are one tap away.
Smarter stat cards everywhere
Every list view — work orders, expenses, fuel logs, and more — now opens with enhanced stat cards showing a trend sparkline, and clicking a card filters the list beneath it. Cards with nothing to show offer a clear call to action instead of a lonely zero.
A Fresh Look, Shared with IoT
One design language across both apps
Yipii Mobility now shares the IoT platform's design language: the Geist typeface, a light/dark theme toggle, a floating glassmorphic sidebar, and a frosted sticky header. If you use both apps, they now feel like two rooms of the same house.
Switch apps in one click
A new IoT | Mobility switcher pill in the sidebar moves you to the tracking platform — and back — with a single click, no second login. Sessions hand off securely behind the scenes.
Drivers, Properly Managed
Assign drivers to vehicles
Driver-to-vehicle assignment now works end-to-end: assign or reassign a driver from the driver page and the change syncs to live tracking in real time, so trips and behaviour data attribute to the right person immediately. Driver statuses now display correctly, and administrators no longer show up with the wrong role.
Electric, hybrid, and hydrogen fleets
Vehicles can now be recorded as Electric, Hybrid, or Hydrogen alongside petrol and diesel — and the fuel type you choose actually persists through every edit.
Inspections That Drive Action
Failed items become Issues automatically
When an inspection item fails, the platform now creates an Issue for it automatically — nothing falls through the cracks between the inspection and the workshop. The inspection banner shows exactly what was raised, and Issues now support photo evidence with a gallery right in the drawer, so the mechanic sees what the inspector saw.
Ready-made inspection templates
Global handover and DVIR (daily vehicle inspection report) templates are now available to copy into your account, so you can run standardised walkaround checks without building a checklist from scratch.
Work orders that finish the job
Completing a work order now reliably triggers everything it should: linked service schedules reset, administrators are notified, and parts and labour entries save correctly. Work-order statuses have been aligned end-to-end, and the open-work-orders count on the dashboard is accurate again.
A Sweeping Reliability Pass
Forms that tell you what's wrong
Every create and edit form in the product — assets, drivers, inspections, parts, expenses, fuel logs, and more — now shows clear inline validation feedback when something's missing, instead of failing silently or bouncing you away from your work. Failed saves keep you on the page with your input intact, and real error messages surface instead of generic ones.
Modules repaired end-to-end
The Licenses module works properly again — create, list, renew, export, and delete — with sensible handling for licences without an expiry date. Documents show their real details and download via secure links. Parts now support stock adjustments with a genuine movement and usage history. Warranties and recalls create and delete cleanly, site locations have working edit and delete actions, and asset CSV import handles references correctly. Vehicle details — licence plate, registration, colour, ownership — now persist reliably on every asset, and all money is displayed in euro throughout.
Sign-in fixes
Magic-link login emails now actually send, and the forgot-password flow no longer misreports "user not found". Duplicate team invitations are politely rejected instead of creating confusion.
