Invoices

Bill customers, email a PDF invoice, and know when a fiscal receipt is needed instead.

Find invoices under Finance › Invoices.

Before your first invoice

Go to Finance › Tax rates › Invoice details and add your legal name, address and VAT number, plus your bank details for the foot of the invoice. An invoice cannot be emailed without your name and address.

Email an invoice

Open the invoice and press Email invoice. It goes to the customer's email as a PDF, or to another address if you type one. The invoice then shows as sent, with the address it went to.

Press Print or save as PDF if you need a paper copy.

Tax invoices and fiscal receipts

An invoice says Tax invoice when both you and the customer have a VAT number. Add the customer's VAT number on their contact.

A customer with no VAT number is owed a fiscal receipt, and Yipii does not issue fiscal receipts. Keep using your fiscal cash register or receipt book for them. Yipii will not email these customers an invoice, and any copy you print says it is not a fiscal receipt. Ask your accountant if you are unsure.

After an invoice is issued

Once sent or paid, an invoice keeps the names, addresses and VAT numbers it went out with, even if you change them later. Invoices are never deleted. Voiding one keeps its number on record.
