Send drivers an announcement or a message
Broadcast an announcement to every driver in the Yipii Driver app, by push and optionally email, SMS or WhatsApp, or message one driver directly.
An announcement goes to every driver at once — roadworks, a new rule, a change to Monday's runs. A message goes to one driver and starts a conversation.
Before you start — your account needs the Driver Add-On; without it, People → Messages shows what it adds and See Driver Add-On plans. Drivers read announcements in the Yipii Driver app, so only drivers who have the app get them there.
Steps
Go to People → Messages. It opens on Announcements. Click New Announcement.
Type a Title — Roadworks in Marsa on Monday — and the Message.
Under Delivery channels, In-App and Push are always on. Tick Email to send it by email as well, at no cost. SMS and WhatsApp need their message pack; the number left shows beside each.
Click Send.
Message one driver
Open the Messages tab and click Message Driver. Choose the Driver, type the Message and click Send. Their replies appear in the same conversation.
What happens next
The announcement is listed under Announcements with when it was sent and the channels it went by. Every driver with the app gets a push notification and finds it in the app.
If it doesn't work
