Billing
What Yipii IoT charges for, how add-ons stack on top, the difference between manual and card billing, and the sharing rule that surprises people.
Yipii IoT bills on billable assets plus whatever add-ons your account has active. There is no plan ladder to pick from: features arrive as add-ons rather than as tiers.
Open Settings → Billing. Only admins and office staff see the tab.

This page explains the shape of the bill and deliberately quotes no prices. Rates are set per account and change; your own Billing screen and your invoices are the authoritative figures.
Asset Tracking
The base charge. The screen shows:
| Figure | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Billable assets | How many assets you are charged for, and the total on the account |
| VAT rate | The rate applied to your invoices |
Billable and total are not always the same number — a trashed asset, or one that never had a tracker, sits on the account without being billed.
The charge follows assets, not trackers. Moving a tracker between vehicles changes nothing; adding a vehicle does.
Add-ons
Everything beyond tracking is an add-on, activated independently and each shown with its own Active badge:
| Add-on | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Driver Add-On | Driver management, timesheets and the driver portal, sold in driver seats |
| Public Sharing | Tracking links beyond the 3 free ones — see tracking links |
| WhatsApp Pack | WhatsApp delivery credits for alerts, sold in bundles |
| AI credits | Yipster's monthly allowance |
The list only shows what is active, which makes it the honest answer to "what am I actually paying for".
Manual billing versus card billing
Accounts start on manual billing: Yipii invoices you, and you pay the invoice.
Switch to Card Billing changes two things — payments are taken automatically, and you can manage the subscription yourself instead of emailing to have an add-on switched on.
Accounts marked Enterprise Invoice stay on manual billing with agreed terms. If yours is one, talk to your account manager before switching.
Sharing: the rule that surprises people
Three active tracking links are free. Cross that and billing switches to every unique asset you are sharing, not to the links beyond the third.
Four links covering 10 assets bills 10 assets. Expired and disabled links do not count, so a link that expires on arrival releases its slot by itself.
Invoices and payment
Invoices and payment history are on the same screen; download any invoice as a PDF.
If the status reads Past Due, deal with it that day. Yipii shows an enforcement banner across the app before anything is restricted, so a past-due status you have not noticed is unusual.
Using Yipii Mobility too
Running both Yipii IoT and Yipii Mobility applies a bundle discount automatically. Nothing to claim — it appears on the invoice while both are active.
If it doesn't work
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| There's no Billing tab | Only admins and office staff see it | Ask an account admin |
| Billable assets is lower than your fleet | Trashed assets, and assets with no tracker, are not billed | Compare against the total shown beside it |
| You can't change the subscription yourself | The account is on manual billing | Use Switch to Card Billing, or ask your account manager |
| An add-on you were told about isn't listed | It has not been activated | The list shows active add-ons only. Contact support |
| A 4th tracking link is blocked | You are at the free limit | Disable an unused link, or add the Public Sharing add-on |
| A sharing charge covers more assets than expected | Above 3 links, every shared asset is billed | Reduce the assets you share, not the number of links |
| Status shows Past Due | A payment failed | Update the payment method immediately |
| Prices don't match this page | This page quotes none, deliberately | Your Billing screen and invoices are authoritative |
